We've now had the privilege of hosting many retreats & while it might sound pretentious, they've all been amazing!
The people that gravitate to this kind of experience, have a similar positive spirit. The host & participants get to know each other in no time, are kind & respectful and everything feels very relaxed and natural. Everybody comes with a good intention & it works!
It's important to feel at home so that the analytical left hemisphere of the brain can lower it's guard. The para-sympathetic nervous system can then move the body from fight or flight, to rebuild & repair. More & more countries agree that spending time in nature may well be one of the most healing activities.
Remove the daily preoccupations and digital distractions to breathe deeper, practice deeper, sleep better & return to your natural state of joy. These retreats are open to you, whatever your experience with yoga. The intention for the practice is physical, mental & emotional detoxing which is primarily achieved by letting go.

LES MOSSES - CANTON DE VAUD, SWITZERLAND
Begin by enjoying the journey to get there, which is known to be a superb scenic route up through the mountain valleys, filled with pine trees & nature, with few signs of habitation.
The picturesque village of Les Mosses, with its 200 inhabitants, is nestled at 1430m above sea level. Stunning views in all directions and wonderful walks up to the Lake Lioson, or through the forests, are garantied to nourish the soul. In winter, the 2 ski lifts next to the chalet, connect to 100 km of tree lined pistes of the combined ski area Leysin, Les Mosses, La Lècherette.
The private apartment is situated in a contemporary chalet built in 2015 with plenty of private parking. The bedrooms boasts magical views of the mountains & a few charming rustic chalets. Each has french doors leading to a balcony with a coffee table and sun loungers to relax & unwind in between activities (or instead of them as you feel).
Even though the remoteness is the attraction, the village provides all the essentials with a couple of shops & restaurants (if needed), in addition to the tourist office. There are also chemists & doctors in neighboring villages 15 minutes away.

As you may have noticed from the reviews, Felix is as passionate about creating healthy, organic, home-made vegetarian dishes, as he is about the physical aspects of yoga! Indeed good "life hygiene" is a fundamental aspect of the practice and micro-nutrition essential to optimal health.
Felix will prepare, with love & care, three-part vegan, part vegetarian meals per day, in addition to the pre-1st class fresh fruit & smoothies in the morning. A wide range of teas, including detox options, fresh fruit juice, and freshly ground coffee are all included with pleasure.
