YOUR TEACHERS

The most important quality of our teachers is their kind, positive & inspiring energy. We don't compromise on this !

Some are passionate about the levels of physical mastery: anatomy, cardio, balance, proprioception, alignment etc. Others are committed to self mastery: breathwork, energy, meditation, mindfulness, UNITY.

Felix has practice yoga since 1999. He’s the owner of UNITY centres and the founder of the Flower of Life Association.

He is a full time yoga teacher, life coach, mentor & entrepreneur with a quarter of a century of experience of personal and spiritual development, optimal health & well being.

Originally from England, a combined Religious Studies & Philosophy degree taught him that peace, happiness & security are states of mind. A subsequent frenetic life as a documentary producer in London drove him to find healthy ways to stay in balance.

A childhood passion for gymnastics & visceral highs prepared him physically & was reinforced by endurance-strength training at naval college. Emigrating to Switzerland in 2005, he furthered his passion for education while directing The Wall Street Institute School of English in Lausanne & later as the Academic Director of the European University in Geneva.

A near death experience in the Maroccan desert in 2012 catalyzed his conviction that the education of consciousness would be his vocation. He trained at the Himalaya Yoga Valley School in India. His teacher, Yogashiromani Acharya Lalit Kumar, was in turn an apprentice of the Master Yogi Iyengar. Felix became a yoga instructor in 2012, that is recognized with the Yoga Alliance, The World Yoga Federation & The Yoga Confederation of India. He qualified as a Life Coach with Fagioli et Partenaires, Lausanne in 2014.

He's participated in numerous further teacher trainings with the likes of David Kiel. Having been the resident teacher at a number of other studios, Felix now teaches exclusively at his own UNITY centres where he has offered 2’ 000 classes to over 10’ 100 participants.

Mirjeta

Mirjeta discovered yoga at the age of 16 and has maintained a regular practice for over a decade. After initial studies in psychology and digital marketing, she made the bold decision in 2022 to leave her job and apartment in Paris to go to Greece, where she underwent extensive training as a Vinyasa teacher.

This decision marked the beginning of an exceptional adventure, punctuated by yoga teachings in surf camps, exciting encounters and the exploration of various countries. In October 2023, back in Paris, Mirjeta put her expertise at the service of the community by giving volunteer yoga classes at the Red Cross, while starting a new training in Yogatherapy, which she’ll complete in 2025.

In January 2024, Mirjeta returned to her native country, Switzerland, where she was delighted to join the UNITY team. She now offers dynamic Vinyasa classes, combining flexibility and in-depth exploration of asanas, thus offering an enriching emotional and physical experience to her students.

Natalya

Natalya started yoga in 2013 and she trained in traditional Hatha in 2017 in India.  She has since gone on to learn various other approaches which she incorporates into her creative teaching style. Her teaching style is compassionate, fun and caring.

Inspired by the yoga masters of India, all postures are held for longer than in the Flow class and often make use of yoga props such as blocks, belts and blankets to maximize the benefits of each posture.

She has studied in Meditation school in 2018, in India and using some of Meditation tools in her regular yoga classes.

This combination helps to find inner freedom and joy within yoga practices for beginners and advanced students.

Portrait Léa restorative yoga teacher soft smile in woods

Léa

Passionate about movement, the body, breathing, art, nature, plants and the sky, Léa has long sought to bring all these aspects together in one place, under one roof.

Initially trained in an art school and then in naturopathy, she was frustrated at not being able to combine the sensitive and subtle aspect of art with the care and respect for the body drawn from naturopathy. Then Yoga came to her and everything aligned.

This practice allowed her to reconnect with the earth beneath her feet, with her arms stretching towards the sky, with her breath caressing her nostrils with each breath. With the subtlety of being alive, in every moment. She will be honored to be your guide in this magical practice that is yoga and has a deep desire to share, share, share with you!

Valeria

🕉️ Valeria's approach to Yoga is firmly rooted in the Hatha tradition and influenced by Jnana Yoga, the "path of knowledge". Alongside tradition, she is passionate about music, skateboarding and surfing. Her practice is infused with the surfer mindset, a meditation in action, which invites you to be in the present moment. That is to say, to know how to wait and listen to yourself, because deep down, each wave, like each asana, is an encounter with yourself. 🏄🏾

Trained in Geneva with the Indian school Yoga Life International, Valeria is a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga teacher (RYT 200) with a scientific background in neuroscience and immunology.

Claudia

Former gymnast, dancer and artistic diver, today yoga is much more than a physical practice: it’s a passion, a way of life that allows a global awareness, unifying the body, mind, spirit, soul and emotions. I practice it daily :)

Inspired by Hatha Yoga, my teaching method offers a creative approach that mixes different styles and rhythms. My classes are focused on finding a physical alignment that allows yogis to evolve while taking into account their morphology and abilities; whatever their age, their limits or their goals. Breathing and guided meditation are integrated, promoting a complete experience.

My diverse background allows me to meet the specific needs of each student, whether they’re athletic, beginner or looking for a spiritual dimension in the practice of yoga.

Each class is carefully prepared, and the atmosphere of the classes encourages sharing, respect and humor, promoting self-exploration. I base myself on a philosophy encouraging respect for the body and its possibilities, for oneself and for others.

Salomé

After several years dedicated to exploring self-knowledge and support, her career as a nurse naturally led her to yoga. It was during a meditation retreat that she discovered the power of silence. This key moment brought her a deep meaning and inner serenity. This journey then took her to India and Nepal where she had the opportunity to train and deepen her yoga practice, every day, alongside inspiring teachers.

Yoga teaches her daily the importance of living with impermanence, while seeking balance. Today, she shares this practice to transmit these values, accompany everyone in their quest for self, and create harmony between movement and stability, thus allowing vital energy to circulate freely.
